Every weekend, I’ll wrap up my week with a few summaries and links related to whatever caught my attention. It may be some entertainment news that didn’t warrant its own post or something that happened in my day-to-day life.
Here’s what happened this week….
- The women of Star Wars are getting their own action figure line. Finally! Rey, Jyn Erso, and Maz Kanata will appear in a new online animated series titled Star Wars: Force of Destiny. Along with the new series, Disney will release a new line of toys featuring the women of the Star Wars universe including Princess Leia! *kermitflail.gif* The web series will premiere in July on YouTube and the action figures will be available on August 1st.
- You know you live in a small town when a co-worker recognizes you based on your resemblance to the rest of your family.
- Aside from binging on some Pink Floyd, I’ve been listening to a lot of Highly Suspect lately. Check out their video for “My Name is Human”.
- My daughter and I watched Star Wars: The Force Awakens for the first time since Carrie Fisher died and it was heartbreaking. I wasn’t expecting it to hit me so hard the moment she appeared onscreen.
- HAPPY EASTER!
